Tickets
Part I, Scene I
The scene starts in a small, square office with a man in a Pepperoni
Pete’s Pizza Visor, a short sleeved dress shirt with a tie and a
pinned on name tag. His name is Jarrod. He is smoking, looking at
some papers and doing some bookwork with a calculator. It is 10:45 PM
on a Friday night. A voice is heard.

Teenage Employee (not seen, only heard): I finished mopping the floor
and putting everything in the walk-in. Can I go home now?
Jarrod: Yeah, turn the dining area lights off on your way out. See
you tomorrow. Thinks: Damn, I don’t get it. This is not adding up
and I can’t figure it out. I need to call my assistant.

Picks up phone, dials and phone rings. Assistant manager, Stephan,
answers.

Stephan: What’s up Jarrod, are you outta there, are we ready to
chill? I rented Tomb Raider for us to watch.
Jarrod: I don’t know man, we’ve got a problem.
Stephan: What, there are no mistake pizzas you can bring over for us
to mow on during the flick?
Jarrod: If it were only that simple. Pauses. Sullenly: We’re having
ticket issues again.
Stephan: NOOOOOOOO! Okay, don’t leave, I’m on my way. See you.
Jarrod: Thanks. Hangs up.

Part I, Scene II
Jarrod sighs, snuffs out his cigarette, grabs his Pepperoni Pete’s
thermos and walks out of the office towards the soda fountain for a
Pibb refill. He takes a sip and has a seat on a bench in the dark
dining room. While looking at the gaming area and shaking his head,
he puts his face into his hands and rubs his eyes. He waits for his
assistant manager’s arrival.

Jarrod hears keys at the front door, in walks Stephan.

Stephan: I got here as fast as I could. Let’s go over the figures
together. Let me get some Pibb first.
Jarrod: Okay, I’ll be in the office.

Part 1, Scene III
Stephan enters the office and Jarrod gets out of his seat so Stephan
can view the books. Stephan glances over the papers and moves his
pointer finger across one page, taps the page, does a calculation and
bangs his fist on the desk.

Stephan: I don’t get it Jar, what do you think it is, you don’t think
it’s what happened before, do you?
Jarrod: At this point, I don’t know what to think. I’ll tell you
what though. Let’s just look at the obvious. Our toy shipments check
in balanced, we train our employees to be exact with tickets and
prizes, we do daily bookwork and weekly inventory.
Stephan: What are you saying?
Jarrod: There is just too little room for error, so somebody must
know something. We safeguard all ticket activities with top
priority. If I were to speculate, I would say it’s Pauses an inside
job.
Stephan: I knew it! We’ve got to get to the bottom of this
immediately before it spirals out of control. Forget Tomb Raider.
Let’s get some Pibb and a pie and head back to my place. We can mull
over it all night. I don’t have to be in until 4 tomorrow. When do
you work?
Jarrod: Same. C’mon, let’s go. I’ll bring you back to your car
later. Oh, grab the pizza on the register counter.

Jarrod and Stephen fill their cups with Pibb once more, lock the
office and head out the back door. Both step into Jarrod’s car.
Stephen is holding the sodas and pie.

Part II, Scene I

Jarrod’s car pulls into the apartment complex of Stephan. The scene
begins with both walking through the front door of Stephen’s
apartment.

right before part one scene two, we should have Stephan slide across
the hood of his car, and put a siren on top of his dashboard.

Also, when they head back to Jerrods car, they should slide across the
hood, and run into each other. Very slap-stickish. Also, the pizzabox
should have a note taped to it. The note should read something like
this: "I know where your tickets are, and I know who is behind this."

OK dude, this is the deal. I think if we actually go to one of these
pizza places, we will most likely creep people out. I look like I'm in
my 30's, and to be honest, I don't want someone to think that I'm some
creepy dude. Jenni had a really good idea though. We can go to PPP,
and film Noah and Teej running around and turning in their tickets,
and use that footage to build an atmosphere in the video. What do you
think about that?
