to Natural Eczema Cure
When you have eczema stress is more of a problem for you than it is
for other people. Not only do you have the emotional symptoms that
other people have, but you also often have skin problems to accompany
it. This article will talk to you about stress, and how it affects
your eczema.
There are three primary drivers of inflammation. Inflammation is what
is necessary for eczema and eczema flare ups to actually take place.
When there is no inflammation, there is no eczema. The three main
builders of inflammation are inhaling a polluted environment, with
smoke being the primary offender in the creation of free radicals. A
diet that abounds in unhealthy fats is a second promoter of
inflammation, while stress comprises the third primary factor in the
creation and eruption of inflammation.
The way that stress is able to contribute to inflammation is by
producing cortisol. Cortisol is a hormone that gives inflammation a
boost. If you were to watch out for it, you would see that many people
that have eczema tend to have flare ups after going through a
stressful period. In teenagers the stress of preparing for an exam can
set off an eczema flare up. In working people a few rough days at work
are also able to get inflammation and eczema going.
Stress produces adrenaline, and adrenaline production burns magnesium,
a lot of the magnesium that goes into adrenaline comes from the skin.
When the skin has lower levels of magnesium eczema flare ups can be
one of the results. When you return magnesium to the skin immediately
after your stress, the flare ups are less intense, and sometimes they
never come.
