Dear member,

The dreaded complications of diabetes include heart attack and stroke.
You can check whether you are at risk from the National Health Service ( NHS - UK) associated web site http://www.qrisk.org/index.php
Enter your details and click calculate to know how healthy your heart is ( heart age) and your risk of a heart attack or stroke in the next 10 years.
If your risk is more than 10%, you have no time to waste and should take remedial action.
How can I reduce my risk?
If your HbA1c is below 6.5%, you are not in the diabetes range. Remove diabetes from the parameters and see the difference. Similarly remove smoking if you are a smoker, change the Cholesterol/ HDL ratio to 4 or less, Blood pressure to 120 systolic and your weight to height - 100 and see the difference in your risk and heart age. These are all achievable by you. Then why not act now to live longer and healthier.
If you require any help and guidance log on to www.drnoble.in and register. It is free for you.

Best wishes,
