Dar Al Shifa conducted ‘Save a Heart’ outreach program at Gulf Bank

Every year many young people suffer heart attack and have untimely death. This can be prevented to a large extent by detecting and treating the silent killers diabetes, high blood pressure and cholesterol abnormalities.Inline image 1

The employees of Gulf Bank Headquarters were screened and were counseled by Dr Noble Zachariah, specialist in Internal Medicine and expert in cardiometabolic diseases and Ms. Aya samara, clinical dietician, ably supported by the nurses and secretaries.

Dar Al Shifa Clinic, Maidan Hawally is happy to reach out to communities and screen the members free for these diseases. Those at risk are given a complimentary Electronic Medical Record in which their disease conditions, medications and investigations like lab results and ECG can be stored. These vital information can be retrieved by the owner of the record from anywhere in the world anytime through a password protected free App. The availability of such vital information without delay, helps treating doctors make quick decisions and save lives. With this app patients can interact with their doctors and have their disease conditions monitored and corrected frequently without the need of clinic visits.

If any business establishment, professional bodies or associations would like to have their members screened and counseled for these diseases, they are welcome to contact nzach...@daralshifa.com . All are welcome.
