BEAT plaftorm release 1.4 deployment annoucement

Hi,

The BEAT platform is scheduled to be updated by the end of this week.

This release has modifications mostly under the hood but on several key aspects like base OS upgrade, packaging, new environments and API as well as hardware changes which might make the procedure longer than usual.

The operation is currently scheduled to take place on Thursday the 20th for a few hours. Therefore it is recommend not to schedule any experiment execution starting from Wednesday 19th. If any experiment is running on the 20th morning, they will be cancelled before the update takes place.

After some more bug hunting and improvements, the platform will be updated on Monday 28.

Downtimes are to be expected.

Please don't schedule any experiment otherwise they will have to be canceled before the update will take place.
