RBS tutorial? Example XML? Anything?

Hi folks,

I'm having a hard time finding anything to help me use the RB model in BEAST2 (v.2.4.0).

I tried to change to the "AutoPartition" template on BEAUTI, but the MCMC panel looks super weird, and I can't find an example XML, tutorial or anything to help me use RBS.

I went through the panels on BEAUTI and created a XML file, but when I try to run it on BEAST, it crashes without any error message (OS X 10.11.4, crashes with or without BEAGLE).

Any help, or pointers, please?

Hi Andre,

It looks like a bug crept into the AutoPartition panel, and I put in a fix, so if you update to RBS v1.3.1 you should be able to set up an analysis by selecting the AutoPartiition template. If all goes well, the title bar should change once the template is loaded and read “BEAUti 2: AutoParition”. Then, you can import an alignment, and the alignment will be split into N partitions, where N is specified in the “Partition info” panel in BEAUti.
