Ultrametric tree using BEAST

Dear all,

 I wanted to know if it is possible to infer an ultrametric tree using BEAST? If so, how can I do that?I have a dataset of 293 influenza strains with known date (They are all in a same year).

Indeed, that is what BEAST is designed for. You can find some step-by-step tutorials here:


Look at the side bar for a list of introductory tutorials, including some on flu and other viruses. Probably best to start with:

tree where all the path-lengths from the root to the tips are equal. There is the only one root-point for that tree.
