I hear that Tracer is supposed to be able to analyse files from
MrBayes as well, but what filetype isn't specified. I've tried many,
so I'm wondering if I need to get MrBayes to produce a different
filetype? any help is welcome.

Hi Rachel,
in my experience, I've used Tracer just to check chains convergence,
importing ".p" files...

Hi Rachel,
You can analyse the file.p files. Just change the file extension in
the "Open file" window, and then you can visualize the statistics and
the trace of your parameters.
The trace is the same as with the MrBayes "sump", but nicer, and you
can also change the burnin as you want in the GUI.
Hope this could help you!
