Dear Nadir,

"Scale Factor" simply scales the numbers. So a scale factor of
1,000,000 will turn times in MY into times in Years. Conversely a
scale factor of 1E-6 will turns Years into MY. FigTree doesn't know
(or care) what units the branch lengths are in - it is up to you to
keep track of them.
