Continue an interrupted analysis in BEAST 1.8.4 on XSEDE Cipres

Hello everyone,

I am new to BEAST and have a doubt: is there a way to resume a BEAST run in CIPRES v.1.8.4 on XSEDE if the run is incomplete because the specified amount of run-time was too short?
For ex. For my dataset, the run was for 500 million generations but the run stopped at around 200 million. Can I resume the BEAST run from this point?

Hi Jithin,

 

1.8.4 is not restartable in CIPRES, but I believe others on this list can tell you how to preserve the outcome of the run in starting  a new run.
