Hello users,

I have genomic data for 80 Aedes aegypti and 4 Aedes mascarenses samples, provided as Nexus files. This data was generated after variant calling and conversion from VCF to PHYLIP, and then to Nexus format. I need to determine the split times between these samples, which are grouped by geographic origin (Africa, America, Samoa, Thailand, and India). I have attempted analyses using MrBayes, MSMC, and other methods, but I haven't been able to determine a conclusive or proper divergence time in years.

Thanks,
Anitha

Hello Ankita,

Divergence time in years can be calculated with Beast software with a Bayesian approach. May I know where you are finding difficulty particularly so that i can help you out with the problem.

Regards
