Hi,

I've looked through some other threads on similar problems and tried to troubleshoot but no luck.

I am on Windows 10, downloaded BEAST v1.10.4.exe and BEAGLE v3.1.0 for Windows, ran the Beagle installer. I've restarted the computer. Through the Beast GUI I try to check for Beagle and the error is:

BEAGLE not installed/found

Failed to load BEAGLE library: no hmsbeagle32 in java.library.path

I've deleted/uninstalled and reinstalled everything. Beast is otherwise working fine. I did locate the .dll files from the Beagle install and moved those around to various locations: in the folder with the Beast executable, with the Java executable (in Program Files(x86), to some other Java executable (in Common Files). I changed the file name from "hmsbeagle64.dll" to "hmsbeagle32.dll". I think that Beast wants the .dll files but I don't know where they are supposed to be (they were installed in Common Files to begin with, with no option to place them anywhere else). Obviously Beast can't find them there.

Help!

Rachel
