Hi,
I would like to use microsatellite data to infer phylogenetic tree.
I saw in the examples (in v.1.7.4) a microsatellite data file (TXT) but I don't understand how to convert it into a NEXUS file in order to import it to BEAUti.

Hi,
your microsat file doesn't need to be converted in Nexus, you can (and should) use your txt. In "Import Data", scroll down "Files of type", and there's the option "Microsatellite (tab-limited *.txt) Files".
Best,

Sibelle

Hi!

one step before that... how did you generate the data file with the repeats number and not the allele size(bp)?

Obrigada!
