Markov Jumps estimations?

Hi everyone,

Thank you very much for your time and for the helpful replies to my previous question.

I’m now working through the Markov Jumps tutorial from the BEAST website (https://beast.community/markov_jumps_rewards).

I ran my model, but I don’t see any jump counts in the .log file. From the tutorial, I understand that BEAUti only adds the MarkovJumpsTreeLikelihood block, but it does not add the <markovJumpsStatistic> logger. Therefore, even if the model runs, no jump counts will appear unless this logger is manually added to the XML.

I want to confirm that I’m enabling the correct settings in BEAUti to obtain the number of jumps, 95% HPD, and jump proportions.
