Issues with BEAST and Beagle

I am a PhD student, and I definitely need to use this software.

I installed everything from the official website.

I generated my .XLM file from beauti, but when i try to run BEAST is crash and close automatically. I can not see any message of error.

When I run this command

C:\Users\oshin>cd c:\BEAST

c:\BEAST>java -jar lib\beast.jar beautiPCV3.xlm

I get this error: OpenCL error: Unknown error from file <c:\github\beagle-lib\libhmsbeagle\gpu\gpuinterfaceopencl.cpp>, line 115.

Not sure if that the problem. I have window 11

Hi Oshin,

I'm not the expert on the software, but If I run BEAST2 from windows, I never run them using command prompt because the interface is pretty straight forward. Just double click and the windows will come out. I think it similar to BEASTX. In my case, my BEAST run usually stopped due to :

1. my mistake in combining the priors  

2. because my RAM is not enough 

3. because my GPU driver was not compatible. 

Due to RAM and GPU limitation in my windows laptop, I prefer to use linux-based workstation and try to update the RAM and GPU as much as possible (within the limit on budget), especially if I work with a big dataset. Some universities also provide GPU servers (i'm not sure if that's the right terms), which can be borrowed for specific experiments.

I am trying to use the last version of Beast v10.5.0, Beagle v3.1.0, and for Java Eclipse Temurin JDK hotspot 8u462-b08.

I have a laptop:

Thanks all for your support I am so desperate for the BEAST work, I need this for my PhD, I spent hours trying to fixed this.
