Hi Huw,
I'm running a StarBEAST2 analysis using the SpeciesTree UCLN template. I read through your tutorial online, and it discusses looking at the sum(Indications.Species) parameter to get a sense of rate variation among species. However, is this only if you use the RLC template? What is the best way to examine rate variation when using the UCLN template? Thanks.
Chris

Hi Chris,
You are right, the sum of indicators is only relevant for RLC. For the UCLN model, the relevant measure of rate variation among branches is the standard deviation parameter "branchRatesStdev.Species".
