I obtained this error following beast v1 execution. But no errors on the front side with Beast v2.

It is possible the Open CL version is incorrect, but my understanding is that the Cuda toolkit which is installed includes drivers and Open CL. It may also be possible that my video card is not supported: single precision vs double precision. Can anyone tell me the video card requirements. I have installed a  GTX 750 TI.

Any guidance is appreciated.

Best,
Franz

beignet-opencl-icd: no supported GPU found, this is probably the wrong opencl-icd package for this hardware

Dear Franz,

If you have CUDA then I would disable OpenCL in the compile (use the --without-opencl command when running ./configure). The multi-threading feature for CPUs also makes OpenCL redundant (OpenCL remains the only way to target AMD GPUs).

A GTX 750 will be supported but I don’t know how well it will performance (however, if you have multiple partitions you can put one partition on the GPU and the rest on the CPU cores to make best use of the available hardware).
