Hello All,

I just realized that for some of my BEAST runs, I approximated number of patterns to 1700, where I meant to set it to 17000. Now I am not sure how is this underestimation of the number of patterns going to affect my output?

Thank you so much

Dear Manpreet,

It does not affect the output and it is only for CIPRES to decide the amount of computational resources it will release for your run. Maybe your analysis ran a bit slower but that's all.

Best,

Pedro

Hello Pedro,

Thank you so much for your reply. That is what I understood from the instructions on CIPRES but wasn't really sure.

Thanks again.
