I'm trying to set up the AWSEB plugin and need some help setting up credentials please...

  1. I click 'Add'.
    1. I select 'User Credentials' on the next page.
    2. I enter them for my AWS account.
    3. I click the 'Add' button and the dialog closes.
  2. Nothing happens.
  3. It doesn't add anything to the drop-down list.
I'd prefer not to use my AWS credentials but I don't have time to figure out how to do the other options - and yet again the Amazon documentation is awful.

Does anyone have more comprehensive instructions they can share? The AWSEB documentation does not have enough detail to set up the plugin.

Thanks!

Alex

Hi Alex, just do one more time.
Else refresh the jenkins page and add the credentials again.
Else refresh the jenkins page after added the credentials.

Me also faced this problem I forget the steps what I did.... :(

Thanks,
Prakash S.

If your Jenkins Slave has ~/.aws/credentials (aws configure), you can leave it blank and it will work. Also, using IAM Profile Roles will also work (but its better if you have an AWS Support Account to help you setup it properly)

btw, I've noticed that if you enable CSRF security, the Credentials Plugin will fail. Have you looked into it?
