There's been two important recent additions to the Beanstalk API that we wanted to announce here first:

Expect a New Repository Type
We've had a small private beta of Mercurial support over the recent months, and we''ll be releasing this repository option to all accounts in a couple of weeks.
Please prepare to update your APIs to account for this new repo type option.

The Repository API docs has been updated to reflect a new mercurial option for the type_id attribute and MercurialRepository for the read-only type_id attribute of the Repository resource.

You'll need Mercurial enabled on an account for testing prior to the widespread launch, please email me directly al...@wildbit.com to have it enabled so you can update and test.

If you run into problems or have questions, drop us a line. Thanks for your timely updates, we'll be doing everything we can do to help this rollout be smooth and enjoyable for everyone.

New Integrations & Webhooks API
We noticed people building more complex and complete tools on top of Beanstalk's API. Integrations & Webhooks are an important part of Beanstalk's workflow so we decided to open up those resources as an API as well.

Complete documentation of read-only and read/write resources related to integrations and webhooks is available here: http://api.beanstalkapp.com/integration.html

We'd like to hear feedback on how these resources are valuable for you and what we can do to improve them. Please feel free to reply here with ideas & suggestions, or contact me directly at al...@wildbit.com.

Thanks, always, for your dedicated development of great tools built on top of Beanstalk.
