Heroku with beanstalk?

Hi there,
Any news on when/how I can run beanstalked on the Heroku cedar or similar stack with a Rails 3.2 app or similar? There was some mention that this might be in the cards back in 2010 (KR joining heroku), but haven't found any news on this since then. Anyone?

You might evaluate http://iron.io – their "IronMQ" product
uses part of the beanstalkd protocol. It's a Heroku addon.
