Hello

I use beancount for a long time.  Switched to a different operating system. Open Suse

My current emacs:

GNU Emacs 28.1 (build 1, x86_64-suse-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 3.24.34, cairo version 1.16.0)

The error i have:

File local-variable error: (void-function beancount mode)

~.emacs.d placed the init file

~.emacs.d/lisp is the beancount.el file

Can't get the items to work no matter what I try

I am also trying VIM, but that is different.  Will take longer.
