If someone feels like adding support to Beancount, it could be a nice little isolated starter project.

Alphavantage is pretty good. it requires an API key which they provide for free, however it has pretty strict rate limits, which can be frustrating when pulling a lot of prices. GnuCash currently uses it for price integrations.

Their website says the rate limit is five calls per minute. Is it really that low?

In my experience that is quite accurate.
