tikz formatting of table of contents (for smartphone applications)

Hello,

I would like to know if anybody has already worked on tikz package to produce some kind of mindmap with partial tables of contents.

I think of using nodes (with connections if necessary) that contain the titles of the subsections of the current section. I have read different things on the web but wanted to have your opinion. I would also add hyperlinks to go to the right subsection easily.

I enclose a very crude test which shows it is possible to include tikz pictures inside the printcontents command of the titletoc package. Note the test is for book latex class, not beamer class actually.
