Is the beaglebone running debian armhf big or little endian? can the beaglebone black hardware run both as big and little endian?

Is the beaglebone running debian armhf big or little endian? can the beaglebone black hardware run both as big and little endian?
BBB is currently configured to run Little Endian, but the ARM processor can be configured to run either.
