Install task-native. What dpendencies does openmpi have?

If I become un-productive tomorrow, I'll see about adding a recipe to
OE for openmpi :)

Make that task-native-sdk. The real solution is create a recipe for
openembedded though :)

I made a quick bb file for openmpi. The build is failing with this:

configure: error: No atomic primitives available for arm-angstrom-linux-gnueabi

I'll look into this as I have time, suggestions welcome.

Didn't you fix the atomic ops stuff for boost a while ago?

Not completely :) I'll be out of town for a few days. I was hoping
this was going to be easy. Basically, I know what the solution may
look like, it will take time though.

To install gcc, there is two thing you can do:

1. Update angstrom image, the latest angtrom images have gcc installed.
2. Install gcc using the package installer: su "user" opkg install gcc (of course you need internet access for doing this)

Thanks for the effort everybody, I thought about creating a recipe but
since I had no experience and need a to configure the ineternet access
anyway, I'll try the opkg gcc and see what I get...unfortunately I
need to wait till I receive the my wi-fi usb adapter.

Philip, If you succeed I'd really like to take a look at the
recipe...good oportunity to learn how to it...

thanks,

Saul
