Changes to be made to create a patch for rtl8192eu

Resources on the internet provide heavy support for rtl8192cu however I find minimal support for rtl8192eu based wifi adapter that I had purchased with the BBB. The github resource on patch for rtl8192cu can it also be followed for rtl8192eu.I try to patch it manually but I find a lot of difference between the two . The only resource that I gave me hope that I could get it working is a post on rtl8192eu in raspberry pi.Could someone guide me about the changes that need to incorporated in rtl8192eu to get 8192eu.ko.Any help would be appreciated.Thank you.
