running apt-get dist-upgrade is installing linux kernel 3.16.0-armv7-lpae-x2

when I run apt-get dist-upgrade
...

That kernel is for the omap5, just remove via:

sudo apt-get remove linux-image-3.16.0-armv7-lpae-x2 --purge

Don't I ever need it?? Don't I loose some of the processor capabilities??
Shall I go on to purge linux-image-3.16.0-armv7-lpae-x2??
