why does eewiki suggest am335x_evm_defconfig for BBB?

zipping through RCN's eewiki page for building for BBB from scratch,
and i notice in the section on u-boot

that a patch is applied for "evm", whereupon the instructions suggest
using "am335x_evm_defconfig" as the basis for building u-boot for BBB.

anyone explain why that is when u-boot comes explicitly with a
"am335x_boneblack_defconfig" file? it just seems odd.

How do you propose we take care of the beaglebone white users then? The 'evm' defconfig is setup to support 4 ti am335x boards.
