Does a right mouse click show anything?
I'd first tested using the March (Feb?) 2015 Wheezy image, and had a
logo and toolbar at the bottom of the screen (took me some time to realize
it was there -- until I changed the 1080p TV to "fit screen" the toolbar
was in the overscan area out of view).
When I installed the November 2015 Wheezy image, all I had was a right
click context menu with option for a web browser and a console window -- no
other applications, no logo, no toolbox.
I haven't checked with this summer's image (which I just installed two
days ago). Mainly because my choices are: connect to router and use putty
or a browser to get to the BBB, or disconnect from the router and go
upstairs to the bedroom with the 22" HDTV using HDMI and a Logitech
wireless keyboard/mouse.
