Wave form generator

Hi all 

I am looking for a simple wave form generator for  a beagle bone black . i also have a 4d cape 70t  which i would like to use as the interface. i bought this unit about 5 years a go and never found a good use for it . please help if you have seen the code for such a project . i want to put this baby to good use. TIA
