There are some threads about this already that may have more details. On
Linux, the CDC should be preferred over RNDIS.
You can try commenting out the line
ln -s functions/rndis.usb0 configs/c.1/
and probably also just below comment out
usb1="enable"
in /opt/scripts/boot/am335x_evm.sh
