Unable to boot BBBW without SD card

Hi

I got my new BBBW and it was working good. I followed the start page and tried to flash the memory with the latest image.

I could not get the flashing pattern like cylon or knightrider at first but after trying a few times, I finally got it. But I stopped the flash process quickly after coz the LEDs power, wifi and bt were on. I tried flashing a few more times after this but could not get it done.

After this, I started having problems.

The board is not recognized by the pc over USB if I remove the SD card. It just powers up, I see a few leds blink and then all the USR0-4 leds light up. 

If I insert the SD card and then try to connect using USB then I can open the start file and connect to the board from the browser but the ssh from terminal keeps asking for password.

I want to see if this can be fixed or I want to reset the board to the factory configuration. Any help is appreciated.

Put a good 5.0 Volt 1.5 Amp power supply on the BBB before flashing.

A USB cable is NOT a good power supply.
