I have a PocketBeagle sealed inside a headless product, and I find it would be convenient to be able to access the serial console. I am using USB-C to connect to the outside world, but really only using it as a USB-2, so that means there are plenty of pins on the connector that are unused. My understanding is the "right" way is to use the SBU lines and a multiplexer, but that seems rather complicated for a simple task like this in a non-consumer oriented product where complete adherence to the standard is most important. Anyone have an opinion on whether using the SBU and CC pins or one of the other high speed pairs is less of an abomination?
