Hi All,

I am connecting USB keyboard of I ball via USB hub to the Beagle B7.It
is getting powered by the USB hub because the LED for caps, nums lock
keys are blinking once. But Its not working so I am missing something.

when I am do
/sys/devices/platform/musb_hdrc/mode it is not host when I try to set
it as host kernel is crashing and login prompt came up.

I am using 2.6.30 omap kernel and jun 2009 u-boot version.

Do I need to short the 4-5 pin on beagle?

Regards,
Niral

Yes. You must short pins 4 and 5 or use the correct cable with them already shorted.
