i am trying to begin code development with oe and following the
instructions on this wiki-page for a clean start-up.

At the end of article the "bitbake console-image" command gives me that
output:

misconfiguration.
Either fix the cause of this error or at your own risk disable
the checker (see sanity.conf).
Following is the list of potential problems / advisories:

Error, TMPDIR has changed location. You need to either move it
back to /home/ns/oe/tmp or rebuild

****************************************************************************************************************

Try removing your OE tmpdir and starting over. It sounds like you moved it.

I intentionally moved my TMPDIR and triggered a similar problem.
Here is how I fixed it:
edit the saved_tmpdir file under the new TMPDIR location.

Warning: Only do this if you've moved the entire TMPDIR.  Otherwise you probably should do a full rebuild (remove everything under TMPDIR).
