Cant connect to BBB using USB anymore

I just got a BBB and have been using the USB and Ethernet. I did an update of the Kernel and then did a reboot command, but now the USB wont work. If I plug it into my pc I dont get the USB connected sound and the board cant connect using the terminal. The Ethernet is fine as I can display the web page. Any idea what the problem is? Thanks
