[GSoC15][Idea][Networks][Router] Idea for router and firewall on board.

Hello,

I am Sainyam, from India.

I wanted to create a module/application for using beagleboard as wireless/wired router, with full set of features of a general firewall, along with options for failover.
What i want to do is that there will be a front-end (most probably in django) which will allow interfacing different devices(eth, wlan, usb dongles) and also provide the firewall features .

I was looking for feasibility analysis, and its usefulness for the community?

Further if you feel this idea is workable, please suggest some mentors also.
