Need critique on my idea

Respected Sir/Madam,

I am a first year student from Army Institute of Technology, Pune, Maharashtra, India. 

As I am very fond of dogs, cats and pets in general. I would like to implement Beagleboard products to make a Pet Surveillance and assistance device. I would like to know what I can do with it and need suggestions on how I can implement it. Any critique is welcome. 

Please let me know what to write in the "about the project" section of my proposal for the same.
