Hi,

I just installed a NVIDIA Quadro NVS 315 (1 GB) on a Windows 2008R2 server. Using BEAST 1.8 I am getting an error message that says:
"Unknown error" from file (..\..\..\libhmsbeagle\GPU\GPUInterfaceCUDA.cpp), line 169

Any thoughts? I saw one post that suggests to turn off ECC checks using nvidia-smi utility but that is not an option for my graphics card.

Best, Matthew

Hi Matthew,

A couple of things to check:

* CUDA SDK is installed and working (run some of the examples) on your system.
* Did you install the BEAGLE window-build or build it yourself? If self-built (preferred), then try the test examples.
* What does BEAST GUI report when you check the “print out BEAGLE resources” box?
* Does BEAGLE function properly when using a CPU implementation?

best, M
