I K.V.N.D.Sairam, Vice-President of Non-Governmental Organization, Be A Difference Society (Regd No. 851). I would like to present you a short introduction of our works and associations. We, 18 members started working together since March 2013, for a CLEAN and GREEN ENVIRONMENT. We started our association with Vatsalya Sindhu (an orphanage home) and donated rice on a monthly basis. We proudly say that, we had organized a Blood Donation Camp at Anandbagh association hall on 25 Aug, 2013, with the help of Red Cross. And it ended on a successful note, which gave us a big moral boost. We do maintain a blog @ beadifferencesociety.blogspot.com, in which we update our works frequently.
In view of Sankranthi festival, we planned an Anti-Polythene Campaign (to create awareness among people on the usage of eco-friendly bags, i.e., non-plastic bags) and Non-woven bag distribution directly to the public. So we approached a dealer, 'Deccan Bags' who promised us to give cloth bag with print for Rs.11.50, made of cotton. We would like to extend our arms for a help, to a global organization like Aditya Birla so that we would make our event more successful and it can make out a huge positive attitude for Aditya Birla Group to focus Corporate Social responsibility.
We have 2 proposals, in which you can select any one of your choice:
1. A traditional way of sponsorship, which results in an eco-friendly bag printed with our event motto and society name along with the name of your organization under sponsor tag.
2. A new way, which involves your organization to outsource the dealer of your choice, who can produce these bags or the dealer which we found, for 2/3 festival days. And can get a regular print of your outlet details, group name, in the front and our event motto, society name at the back of the bag. This in deed can be a carry bag of your outlet of all regular days, but with an eco-friendly material. Which we suppose, will serve the same purpose of your regular outlet bags and in much better way than (1) and even our motto.
Event Details & Plan:
1. A 3.5 km rally from Malkajgiri X Roads to Safliguda Lake on 12 January 2014 (Sunday).
a. It contains major shopping centers like Anutex, Anutex Extension, CMR, Smarty, R S Brothers, People, R9000 etc.
b. Malkajgiri Center hosts the major fruit and flower market for festival purposes.
c. Anandbagh X roads hosts the largest Sunday Market of the locality.
d. Many Medical Shops, Books Shops, Kirana Stores and fast food Centers are huge crowd attracters too.
2. Arrangement of stalls on the roadside to distribute bags directly into the hands of public ensuring effective usage of the bags purchased and minimizing misuse of the bags by other secondary handlers.
3. Publicity through newspaper article before and after the event, as we have done it for our Blood Donation Camp in association with Indian Red Cross Society, we have a nice rapport the media personnel.
