The national park project has gathered momentum since the Green
Coalition Annual General Meeting in April. Groups from across the
Montreal Region are helping to shape the vision for the new park to
protect a mosaic of green spaces, forests and floodplains, wetlands,
natural corridors and islands - linked together by the great rivers
that surround our Metropolitan Archipelago.
During the meeting, a progress report will be presented on the work to
identify, map and inventory specific sites for the new park. Please be
present to ensure that your group' s favourite natural spaces are
included
On June 27, please join as 'Partenaires' in this important national
park project to protect the region's distinct ecological domain here
in south-western Québec and help to establish The Montreal Archipelago
Ecological Park !
