Dear Luke and member of the Beacon Bay Roundtable Thank you for your generous donation of R5 000 in support of Marlene Neumann’s BUCKAROO project. For your convenience please find the donor form with the banking details attached.
The focus of the Buckaroo project is sterilization…… the basis of good animal care. Marlene and her team have been working in the Cintsa East informal settlement for the past 9-10 months, with the assistance of the SPCA, to have the dogs/cats sterilized. With this and other areas we have had over 300 dogs/cats sterilized.
Apart from sterilization, when the dogs/cats are returned home they are given ‘starter packs’ of food. Where needed we supply kennels, bedding, runs and feeding bowls. We do de-worming and de-fleaing. We rescue and re-home!
