City council meeting on the Flock contract

Last night the city council, after four and half hours of public comment and discussion, decided to move forward with renewing the contract with Flock.  Councilmembers Aslan and Garcia were the only two who opposed this direction.

The actual vote on the contract renewal will be sometime in the next few months.

Thanks to everyone who sent emails to the city council.

(P.S. It's hard to capture how it all unfolded in a short email but I wanted to give you a short update.)
