Hey everyone!

We hope that God has been moving significantly in each of your lives and are excited to partner with you as you continue to seek His kingdom. We're excited to move into the next phase of our semester with a speaker/discussion series called "Jesus on Facebook" so come out and join us!

 

Some things to look out for this week:

 

THIS Tuesday October 5. The Destino Leadership Team will be hosting worldwide day of prayer this Tuesday; this will be a great time to be encouraged in the ways God is moving on our campus :) We will pray, worship, and share our testimonies. You don't want to miss out!!!

 
 

Following that, roughly one hour and 30 minutes later, we will have the Purple Pig Tour stopping by Cal State Long Beach! The Purple Pig Tour is a national movement that is first stopping by Southern California to call campuses and young men and women to a culture of prayer and life of mission. Let's honor our guests by attending this event this Tuesday Oct from 6:30-8:30, USU-205 (same room as Destino and Crusade)

 
 

Bible Studies - We've launched our bible studies for this fall, all on campus.
GUYS: Thursdays at 4:15.
GIRLS: Wednesdays at 7PM (Dorms), and Thursdays at 12:15.

All bible studies are located at the tables outside the Coffee Bean in the Student Union. Get connected! For more info email laura.r...@uscm.org.

Encounter: God has provided awesome opportunities for us to reach out to the campus through this time! This will be a time of prayer and worship on the grass in front of the CSULB Bookstore Mondays and Wednesdays from noon-2PM and anyone is welcome to join. Encounter will be a time to connect with God and partner with our friends from the other Christian Organizations on our campus. For more info contact zack.d...@gmail.com.

 

Coming up this month:

We are planning a Halloween event for you all! So mark it down on your calendars (Oct. 31st) now because it's going to be an awesome event!

 

We are also in need of help to set-up and tear down before and after our main meetings. If you are able to show up to the meeting between 4:30 and 5pm to set-up or can stay for about 10 minutes after the meeting to help tear down we would love your assistance!

Food for thought this week: Galatians 5:25 - Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.
