Hey guys!
As the semester begins to come to a close, we really want to stress that we still have a lot of cool stuff going on for you to take part in! Here are some upcoming events that we hope to see you at:
1) Winter Conference
There's still time to register before the first price cutoff, and we really would love for you to come. It's going to be an awesome, memorable time. Talk to any leaders or staff if you want more info, or if you want to discuss things that are preventing you from coming. Visit
the website for more info and to register!
2) Speaking of Winter Conference, we have a
support raising party for anyone who is interested in preparing some letters to send out to raise financial support. Just bring some addresses and some stamps, and we'll provide the rest! Here's the
facebook event page which has all the info you need. You can stop by
any time between 3 and 8pm on Monday, November 22 - it's not necessary to stay the whole time. We really hope you come!
3) On Wednesday, December 1st (the first Wednesday after Thanksgiving break) we are having a worship night for our weekly meeting. It will be in USU-205 (our old room) at 5:00PM. The theme is Psalm 119:105. Join us for a refreshing, empowering environment of worship and prayer - it's going to be really cool.
Well, we really appreciate all of you and have had a blast getting to know you this semester. We will see you all at our next meeting - this Wednesday at 5PM in LA5-151. Don't forget to keep Wednesdays at 5PM free as you register for next semester's classes, it would be awesome if all of you could still come to our meetings in the Spring. Have a great week!
Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light to my path.
I have sworn an oath and confirmed it,
to keep your righteous rules.
I am severely afflicted;
give me life, O LORD, according to your word!
Accept my freewill offerings of praise, O LORD,
and teach me your rules.
- Psalm 119:105-108
