Hey Everybody,

Welcome back to Fall semester. To the new members, welcome to Campus Crusade for Christ at Long Beach State! We are excited to get to know you as we learn together about what it means to share the Good News on campus. We have a few pieces of info that we'd love to share with you:

1) Bible Studies - We've launched 4 bible studies for this fall, all on campus. 

GUYS: Thursdays at 4:15. 

GIRLS: Wednesdays at noon, Wednesdays at 7PM, and Thursdays at 12:15.

All bible studies start this week, at the tables outside the Coffee Bean in the Student Union. Get connected! For more info email laura.r...@uscm.org.

Encounter: This will be a time of prayer and worship on the grass in front of the CSULB Bookstore Mondays and Wednesdays from noon-2PM and anyone is welcome to join. Encounter will be a time to connect with God and partner with our friends from the other Christian Organizations on our campus. For more info contact zack.d...@gmail.com.

2) Fall Retreat - It's this weekend (Sept. 24th-26th)! The last day to register is this Thursday (Sept. 23rd) at noon. We want to see all of you there, so make sure to sign up using the link on the homepage at beachcru.com.

3) Weekly Meeting - Come out this week on Wednesday at 5PM to meet some new people, pray together, worship, and hear the next part of our series on world views! We meet in USU-205. Hope to see you there!

4) Facebook - Be sure to become a fan of our new facebook page. Search for "BeachCRU" and look for the calm in the storm picture. We will be posting important updates and event information on this page frequently!

These are all great opportunities to get connected, so come join us! 

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 says "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!" Don't forget the importance of fellowship this semester. Have a great week!
