Sabatical

Hi everyone

 

As you know, I took a sabbatical from the band towards the end of last year, and said that I would make a decision a to whether or not I was going to return.  After thinking about it for a while I have decided to leave the band.  My commitments elsewhere, with new hobbies and ‘the other band’ means that I would not be able to give the time and effort that I could, or should be able to offer the band.

 

I did swing by the other Wednesday at 7.45pm to say farewell to everyone, but in typical Beach Bateria fashion no one was there! I had to be somewhere at 8pm so couldn’t stay long. 

 

I’ve given what costume I have to Chris so it can be returned to the band and hopefully used by someone else.

 

I’ve had an absolute blast with the band since I joined in 2013, with lots of fond and happy memories.  I wish you all well, both individually and as a collective band.  I’m friends with some of you on FB so will stay in touch that way, and will definitely pop along to see you play at a gig again this year.

That's a shame Jeff, but I understand about new commitments and hobbies.

Which date did you turn up? We're currently meeting 1st and 3rd Weds of the month.
