The long goodbye

Hello All

First huge apologies for taking so long. No excuses really,  I'm afraid life, gcse's and summer holidays got in the way.  Then it hit me how long its been!!!

The Update.

The instruments went to The primary school on the Beach. Dave came along and helped Tim and I transport them...Thanks again Dave!

As far as I am aware Chris finalised and paid what we owed to the Church.

I had responses from some regarding what local community/charity groups should recieve a share of the remaining bank ballance.

The old Fort Shoreham

The Church of the good Shepherd 

2 local Explorer scout groups

Worthing homeless project 

Ropetackle emergency appeal 

And Jenny suggested any local mental healt project (would The homeless project count Jenny I know a signifigant number have mental health issues)

Now potentially thats 5 groups ( If the 2 explorer groups could be one nomination and one share of monies split between them) 

So instead of a vote to reduce it to 4 should we split it between the 5?

Chris, what is the remaining amount please?

Finally, do we still want to meet up for a final drink/meal. We are up for it. Be good to see some old faces and find out who have joined other Samba bands or found new hobbies!

As there are different prefered tastes i suggest the Bridge Inn. Good pub food, and it means if anyone doesnt want to eat they can join us for a drink. 

Maybe a midweek day if weekends are busy?
