to BEA 2019 Shared Task: Grammatical Error Correction
Dear BEA19 shared task participants,

This is just a quick message about how to reference the shared task overview paper if you submitted to BEA. In particular, we request that you use the following bib item when describing the shared task:

@InProceedings{bea2019,
  author =  {Christopher Bryant and Mariano Felice and {\O}istein E. Andersen and Ted Briscoe},
  title =  {{The BEA-2019 Shared Task on Grammatical Error Correction}},
  booktitle =  {Proceedings of the 14th Workshop on Innovative Use of NLP for Building Educational Applications},
  year =  {2019},
  publisher =  {Association for Computational Linguistics},
  location =  {Florence, Italy}
}

We also ask that you cite this paper for the W&I dataset and NOT Yannakoudakis et al., (2018) as previously reported. Yannakoudakis et al., (2018) mainly describes the Write&Improve system itself and does not refer to the data we compiled especially for the shared task. Consequently, we have been asked that you cite the shared task paper instead for more information about the W&I dataset; i.e.

Write&Improve system (Yannakoudakis et al., 2018)
W&I dataset (Bryant et al., 2019)
W&I+LOCNESS dataset (Bryant et al., 2019; Granger, 1998)

We have updated the website to make this clearer, and apologies for the confusion.
